The Tom Sill Gifts in Kind Technology recycling program exists to provide recycled technology for Canadian Registered Charities. Gifts in Kind Members can receive a wide range of products from used computers, peripheral, to software and hardware from various manufacturers such as Adobe and File Makerl. Tom Sill Gifts In Kind Educational Computers for Youth Future Solutions Now! Tom Sill Gifts In Kind Inc. has been recycling computers for about 9 years. We have developed Technical expertise and refined the process on an ongoing basis. In keeping with our commitment to continually improve our capabilities the Tom Sill Gifts In Kind has become an "Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher". This allows us to receive Office 2003 & Windows XP Operating System for a low nominal fee. We feel that the "Educational Computers for Youth "initiative will assist some students to access computerization and the internet in their own home. How it Works: Parents / Students can apply to their particpating school as long as they are registered with the school for a recycled computer to use at home. How to Participate: 1. You must be a registered student with a Participating School. 2. The parents / students must apply at the school. 3. There is a $200.00 charge for the recycled computer system to cover administrative fees.

The website is www.techsoup.org. The website is specifically designed to assist non-profits or charities in obtaining software from well-known manufacturers. There are certain restrictions associated with receiving software and these vary from one manufacturer to another. The restrictions are detailed on the website and most Manufacturers do not exclude Canadian Charities from receiving software donations.
